This morning we ran a people-shaped™ workshop over at Ravensbourne College with a group of fashion, design and media students. We gave each design team the task of designing a toothbrush based around the needs of a different, fictional character. In just under two hours, each team had created storyboards which explored their character's need states, then proposed the appropriate products, services, messages and experiences to meet those drivers. Well done and thank you to all who took part.

We've just finished a strategic research programme with The Division on the future of video camcorders. Broadly looking at consumer behaviour in this and parallel markets, we added new words to our already jargon-heavy vocabulary such as webstudios, lifecasting and mobile blogging...

We've just got back from New York and San Francisco where we were exploring the world of video sharing in the consumer marketplace. A link up with Blip TV was the highlight of the trip – their bold approach to the future of broadcasting certainly made us feel like the Big Apple's media industry is already the next century.

Our work on the Maverick TV/Channel 4 project has ended, resulting in happy clients and a thoroughly enlightening journey for firsthand to tell the story of. We're very excited about the project's conclusion and look forward to seeing its development and eventual launch over the coming months.
